Life coaching and career change/reassessment

The world of work is a very different place than it was even twenty years ago. Technological advances, increased global competition and changing workforce demographics are some of the major factors that are affecting the choices and experiences of working people in the UK and around the world. In this environment, it can be it very difficult for people to assess their career options, work out career goals and strategies and have the confidence to implement changes.

So if you are:

tear Unemployed, or unhappily employed
tear Entering or re-entering the workforce
tear Trying to work out personal career goals and strategies
tear Changing jobs and/or fields
tear Thinking about becoming self-employed
tear Retraining or considering taking full- or part-time courses

... then coaching, either private or corporate coaching, could help you:

tear Take stock of your current situation
tear Sort out what’s important—and what’s not
tear Identify realistic options
tear Acknowledge potential stumbling blocks and how to overcome them
tear Raise and discuss anxieties and fears
tear Feel positive about taking up the challenge
tear Prioritise short-, medium- and long-term goals and strategies

It is difficult to be motivated and courageous when you feel trapped and anxious. The pressure of being an adult with responsibilities can make it difficult to identify options for ourselves. However, we owe it to ourselves (and to those for whom we are role models) to try to work out a way to both behave responsibly and also be personally satisfied and challenged.
