FAQ

Can I speak to you before booking to see if I want to go ahead at all?

Yes, of course. I’m happy to have a phone conversation with you (15 mins or so) at no cost to help you decide whether or not you’d like to go ahead.

Do I have to book a block of sessions?

No, you can book a one-off session, if you’d prefer. The session is 90 mins and costs £220.

Is it better to book blocks of sessions?

There are 5%, 7.5% and 10% discounts if you decide to book either a block of 6, 9 or 12 sessions, respectively. We then arrange the session dates to best suit you.

Is there a cancellation fee?

Yes, sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are charged at the full rate - unless the reason is illness or some other extenuating circumstance.

Where do we meet?

I work with my private clients either in my office in my home in Crouch End, North London or via any one of the numerous online platforms, like Zoom or Teams.

How does coaching differ from therapy?

Good question. Both involve confidential conversations between 2 people. The main difference is that coaching focuses mainly on the present and the future, whereas therapy often involves a lot of thinking and talking about the past.

Will there be homework?

Only if we both agree there are tasks that you could do between sessions that will be helpful.

Will I have to prepare anything before we meet?

No, not unless you want to. Basically just be prepared to talk to me about what’s important to you.

Can I contact you outside of our sessions?

Yes, by all means. It’s fine to touch base briefly between meetings. You can drop me an email or text at any point and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.

Is there anything that’s not OK to talk about?

No, not from my perspective. I’m happy to explore anything that’s important to you.

Are our conversations confidential?

Yes, totally.
