People are very often promoted to positions of leadership without ever having been given any kind of leadership skills training. This is a risky strategy given what’s at stake for the organisation. I work with my clients to help them develop a vision of what kind of leader they want to be, and work out a realistic pathway to get there, taking into account opportunities as well as constraints.
